Vote not because you can, but for those who cannot.
For those too bothered or burdened to research these choices — bombarded by mailers and texts and yard signs and the static of radio ads — for whatever unfair or reasonable obstacles block their hand from reaching the lever of civic duty.
Not frightfully nor vengefully against those whom you disagree.
Nor triumphantly against those veiled in some shade of ignorance.
But kindly, as a community service.
