A Handwritten Note


The choir sang on the dais, and because we were late, the only seats in the pew sat us behind a computer screen and ancient keyboard.

A handwritten note in pencil capital letters on a folded sheet of paper instructed the operator to change the date so that PowerPoint would work. I followed the cabling up and out, in search of a projector. I found it to the left, imagining what spirituality was best met with bullet points.
